Conflicting Cares
In rebelling and acting aggressively towards the surroundings and on the other hand, the social necessity of getting physically in touch with our direct environment, lays the overlapping and contradictory notion of caring for it. The work manifests acts of rebellion in order to search for ways of relating back to our physical environment to which we have lost the connection.
The Rietveld building becomes a testing ground where the performed aggressive acts manifest a form of care. The care to emancipate the shared space from its established rules enables contradictions to turn into relations.
