Thesis: Where do we find God when the Church is burning?
“At the Crossroad” is a spatial installation that gives form to what we cannot see — but feel.
It explores transformation in times of disorientation and violence.
The Crossroad symbolizes a threshold: where one world ends and another begins. In a time when movement outpaces intention, the work offers pause for redirection. It invites visitors into a space of reflection and magic.
Freeing the body from itself and all it holds, we surrender to the water.
Inspired by the words of Bayo Akomolafe, the work becomes an offering of collective remembrance:
That we are not alone. That there is so much living in and around us. And that there is guidance in the current.
