What is the profound stillness of silence in a world filled with endless sounds? How can we gather around the table without reproducing the hierarchies it creates? When do weknow that we climb over a fence or draw a line? Who is crossing borders, and who do they become? Why do we distance ourselves from natural processes in our human-centric worldviews? These are just a few of the questions that current graduating students of theCeramics department are asking.

You are kindly invited to join us for an afternoon of presentations on Wednesday, 8 April, from 13:00 to 16:00 in the Pavilion of the Rietveld Academie. In a series of five participatory talks, Ida-Simone, Carmo, Dijntje, Freja, and Linda will share the topics of their theses, their research, and the writing processes behind them. The event will be joined by a guest artist Natalia Jordanova and open with an introduction by Gļeb(s) Maiboroda. Each talk will be followed by short, curated conversations between the presenters and the audience.
