Thesis: Hallway pedagogy
This work is deeply inspired by choreographer João Fiadeiro’s practice of Real Time Composition, a method for exploring collective decision-making in contemporary dance, using improvisation and composition as research fields. This interpretation integrates language by turning the letters of the Latin alphabet into game pieces. The book documents the research that led to its current form, including a discussion with the visual artist and teacher Uta Eisenreich. The accompanying performance explores the game’s spatial and compositional possibilities within the Gym.
This game was played twice at the Graduation Show 2025 and is intended to travel and evolve in other contexts.
