Elsa Rubio Björk
(she/her, b. 1998, Cádiz) is a Swedish and Spanish artist working in sculpture and installation. Through make-overs and sculptural gestures, hyper-coded objects and familiar tropes are reworked until the natural truths they seem to carry buckle, and something else emerges. Her work moves between internet culture, gender and class dynamics, consumerism, and the blurry line between authentic and fake.
