Thesis: Memory, Time, and the Epicurean Gaze: From Nostalgia to Transformation.

A figure sits alone in the kitchen after finishing their meal.

Their gaze drifts through the window, and lost in thought, they slowly fall asleep.

The window beside them has been left open.

It doesn't seem important. They're alone in the house.

What they don't know is that, on this particular night, something is out there.

Creatures move through the darkness. They are searching, looking for life.

Looking for warmth, looking for something to enter, to inhabit... or simply to observe.

The open window is an invitation.

One by one, the creatures slip inside.

They crawl silently across the floor, settling beneath the counter, along the cabinets, and across the table. They are in no hurry.  They are studying.

The room is almost calm, almost peaceful, except for the quiet presence of things that do not belong.
