Thesis: Real Life Imaginary Places: dialogues within a city
The work, RV 034, is a 4 metre by 2.3 metre room, built within another room. From the outside, it takes on the appearance of a small closet which is part of the preexisting architecture of the Rietveld Academie. Its outer walls are painted Rietveld grey and the entrance door is an original from the Rietveld building. On the inside, is a white walled fluorescent-lit waiting room with six chairs, two coffee tables and some books.
