Thesis: We put an act up for each other / and try to perform in such way / that people clap / rather than booing
Using ceramics and textile I play with the translation of fabrics fluidity into something fixed, questioning the roles we step into through costume. Gender, in particular, operates like theatre - a scripted performance, reinforced by tradition yet open to playful disruption. By shifting context, I want to invite the viewer to consider how easily identity can be reshaped, like an actor changing costumes between acts.
