Thesis: Merry Crisismess and a Happy You Year
In a time where culture feels like a sequel to a remake, or a copy of a remix, we work under the name Lorem Ipsum Empire. Like the dummy text itself, our practice often feels like a placeholder: a copy of a copy. We rebuild fragments of institutions as stage sets, and hire body doubles of the recurring heroes and authority characters that have repeatedly failed us as. The result is a hollow world of rehearsed authority and familiar fictions, a deadpan absurdity where you can’t distinguish between silly and serious. The feeling of being looped in an endless televised collapse.
