"Stay in Touch?" is a collection of sculptures created to give the viewer a bodily reaction through the tactile experience upon first encounter. The slight modifications and material ambiguity in the sculptures make the body eager to touch.

 

Splitting Under The Skin


Cutouts, paper, 59.4 x 84.1 cm.


All the layers originate from the same pile of paper; only the top layer has been in direct contact with the cut. The cuts are based on a text describing how it feels when the personality splits beneath the skin. The different engravings underline how expression varies depending on which layers of the work are viewed.
