Thesis: Magical Mirrors: Surrealism as a Portal to the Feminine Unknown

Working with kitsch imagery and hybrid human-animal figures, my paintings explore transformation, vulnerability, desire, and unstable identities. This installation brings together a series of paintings and wallpapers to evoke a domestic interior, allowing the imagery to extend beyond the canvas and into the surrounding space. By combining decorative surfaces with figures that exist between human and animal, the work creates a familiar yet uncanny environment in which themes of bodily transformation and identity unfold.
