Thesis: HYPERATTUNENESS
Caroline Charef wishes to investigate absurdity and nonsensicality that transpires into bodily responses through a simple and symmetrical framework. She works with themes such as rules, systems, randomness, intuition, playfulness and humor. With a background and interest in theater and dance, Caroline aims to visually create a sharp, structured and minimalistic frame around her performative works. The actions and performance within the frame is often intuitive, immediate and playful. Her works can be described as simple and raw while maintaining both a sense of humor and seriousness.
