Thesis: Typology of care
Imagine it's a City. How do we build a city? A technical challenge of greatness for architects and urban planners, a megalomaniac's wet dream for politicians and real estate promoters. In a time and space where the body politic dances over the ruins of our civilisations, THE CITY IS THE COLOSSEUM ITSELF. For the agora, which witnessed its overton's window flirting and embracing fascism, THE CITY IS THE ARENA ITSELF. Fight on the ruins of civilisations, a technocratic fascist vision implemented in a halfway open theater of democracy, disguising itself as an agora. We build a city, our amphitheater, with its own urban grid, infrastructures, and ministries. A speculative city reusing and exploring the concepts of theater of democracy and spaces of power. An urban fiction encapsulating a cynical observation of our political systems and counter typologies to them. Between failed utopia and techno productivist nightmare, it is all an urban fable. We see a techno-cultural agora being built on top of political ideologies remaining, and this time, we will be sitting at the table.
Visitors are invited to walk through the urban landscape and find a seat in the heart of the city.
