Thesis: Strange Bodies: Sculpture Through Empathy And Identity

My art practice is anchored in a research into the properties of bodies, such as exhaustion, aging, standing, and the tensions between inside and outside the skin. I’m also interested in how bodies function in space. I naturally turned to sculpture, as it allows me to explore materiality and the process of giving shape to matter. For the graduation show, I worked with various materials such as textile, concrete, latex, and metal. However, I am eager to explore other materials and their potential as well.
