Thank you for coming to our annual Open Day on Friday, 30 January 2026. For the first time, Rietveld Academie and Sandberg Instituut hosted a joint open day, welcoming visitors interested in the bachelor and master programmes respectively.

Due to the high level of interest in our previous online information sessions about the precourses an extra sessions will be organised. You can join the Q&A session about the precourses on 10 February at 16:00 and it will be held in English this time.

The admission procedure for the Gerrit Rietveld Academie consists of two rounds. In the first admission round your portfolio will be assessed. From the beginning of November 2025, you can start your application in Studielink and then participate in the first admission round. After a positive assessment of your portfolio in the first admission round, you pass on to the second admission round: the entrance examination.
