On Thursday, artist and performer Geo Wyex joins us at the library for a moment of sustain vocalization. Together we will study a poem by Diane di Prima by reading it out loud and listening to each other. We will experiment with collaborative and collective reading, as an opening into a wider set of questions about interpretation, participation, "the cover song," and what it means to sound aloud together. The workshop is free and open to the public; we encourage participants to bring a writing utensil. Refreshments will be served.
