The Fine Arts department prepares students to become professional visual artists, ready to engage in the art world and to pursue the best postgraduate courses and residency’s both in the Netherlands and internationally. On joining the department, students enter into an ongoing dialogue about the possibilities of fine art as a creative practice and a research discipline. Our teaching approach is rooted in individual studio practice, complemented by one-to-one tutorials, group classes, theory courses, field trips and curatorial practice, fostering both individual growth and collective exploration.
