Here we collected information about the Dutch funds available to the cultural sector.

There were presentations by Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, Mondriaan Fonds, Stimulerings Fonds, Voordekunst and het Cultuurfonds about Dutch funding opportunities. Followed by a panel talk, moderated by Márk Redele (alum Sandberg and Coordinator Sandberg Research) and a session hosted by Pedro Matias (alum Rietveld and Sandberg) with Sanne van Balen (alum Rietveld) and Márk Redele.
Life After Rietveld and Sandberg: On Funding Bodies
There are various subsidisers and funds owned by local- and national government and private institutions on the Dutch art- and culture world.
The six public cultural funds in the Netherlands are:
1. The Creative Industries Fund (Het Stimuleringsfonds) is the national cultural fund for design, architecture and digital culture supporting innovative design projects of makers and cultural institutions in the creative industry.
2. The Cultural Participation Fund (Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie) encourages people to actively engage with culture.
3. The Netherlands Film Fund (Het Nederlands Filmfonds) is the national cultural fund for the professional, independent film sector and provides financial support for the development, production and distribution of film productions and film-related activities.
4. Mondriaan Fonds supports and promotes the visual arts and cultural heritage in the Netherlands
5. The Dutch Foundation For Literature (Het Nederlands Letterenfonds) has the task of supporting writers and translators, and of promoting Dutch literature abroad
6. The Performing Arts Fund (Fonds Podiumkunsten) is the national fund for professional music, (music) theatre, dance and festivals in the Netherlands

AFK is the fund of and for cultural metropolis Amsterdam with the goal to contribute to a city where everyone has the chance to practice or experience art.
Fonds ZOZ funding for artists with projects aimed at reducing extremism, polarization and radicalisation (in Dutch)
VSBfonds supports social and cultural initiatives. They also make international scholarships available for socially involved students. (in Dutch)

Amarte Fonds support small scale projects in the field of theatre, film, music, visual arts and literature, as well as interdisciplinary projects.
De Turing Foundation foundation supports projects related to art expositions and music education, climate change and biodiversity and leprosy research
The Performing Arts Fund NL is the national fund for professional music, (music) theatre, dance and festivals in the Netherlands.
The Cultural Participation Fund (Het Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie) encourages people to actively engage with culture. We support initiatives throughout the Kingdom of the Netherlands – at school and in leisure time, and across all disciplines.
Oranje Fonds is the largest social fund in the Netherlands and the Caribbean part of our Kingdom supporting small-scale community projects and mentoring projects for young people.
Prins Claus Fonds is an independent foundation dedicated to culture and development.
Stichting Dioraphte is a Dutch private foundation to support initiatives that have a significant impact on peoples’ lives.
Stichting DOEN is the fund of the National Postcode Loterij and VriendenLoterij and aims to accelerate the transition to a circular economy, in which everyone counts, that puts the commons first, and there is room for radical imagination.
The Creative Industries Fund is the national cultural fund for design, architecture and digital culture. We finance innovative design projects of makers and cultural institutions in the creative industry. Many of these projects are interdisciplinary.
Mophradat creates opportunities for artists from the Arab world through an inventive approach to funding, commissioning, collaborating, and gathering.
De Janivo Stichting supports performing arts projects in the Netherlands for and/or by children adults up to the age of 25 in the field of theater, dance and music.
Norma represents the interests of performers such as musicians, actors, singers, dancers or any other person who acts, sings, delivers or otherwise performs an artistic work.
If you are interested in applying for a loan the Fonds Kwadraat offers interest-free loans for visual artists, photographers and designers within the cultural sector.
Cultuur+Ondernemen offers loans to artists, creatives and cultural organisations and can be used, for example, for a fashion collection, production or renovating a workspace or building
