Art Residencies

Art residencies are temporary programs offering artists focused time, space, and resources (like studios, stipends, or equipment) in a new environment to develop their work, experiment with ideas, and build professional networks, often culminating in exhibitions or community engagement.

If you want to learn more about art residencies as learning environments and international opportunities you may want to watch the Life After Rietveld and Sandberg episode on the subject here

There were presentations by Rijksakademie, Jan van Eyck, de Ateliers, Hotel Maria Kapel, Kunsthuis Syb and DutchCulture about international opportunities. Followed by a panel talk, moderated by Sandberg alum Kitty Maria.
