Workshop Talks is a series of conversations with workshop specialists from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. These discussions explore themes such as the use of materials, the role of craftsmanship in art education and preparation for professional practice.
Mid November 2024, the fifth and last conversation was held with Miquel Hervás Gómez (workshop specialist at the Bookbinding workshop and teacher and the Preparatory Course), Inna Kochkina (workshop specialist at the Computer Workshop and mentor at the Basicyear) and Feline Hjermind (workshop specialist at the Editing Studios Workshop). Miquel, Inna and Feline talk about shorter lines of communication, radical spaces of making, and the joy of having a key to a workshop.
