At art fairs, alums of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie often present their work in groups - through galleries or through the academy, where collaboration and exchange are central.
At This Art Fair, on the other hand, the emphasis is on the individual artist. Solo presentations are at the heart of the fair here. For instance, alums Yawen Fu and Karl Götter present work in their own stands, while joining the academy's group presentation at KunstRAI earlier this year.
Iskra Vukšić, also a Rietveld alum, was tipped by Het Parool as one of the artists not to miss at This Art Fair. Her latest work explores the interaction between tourism, landscape and fire.
