Workshop Talks is a series of conversations with workshop specialists from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. These discussions explore themes such as the use of materials, the role of craftsmanship in art education and preparation for professional practice.

Mid November 2024, the fourth conversation was held with Bas Burghard (workshop specialist at CAD/CAM workshop), Pieter Elbers (workshop specialist and teacher at Jewellery Linking - Bodies), Brent Dahl (workshop specialist at Screen printing workshop) and Jip van Steenis (workshop specialist at the Library and internal communication officer at Public & Projects). Bas, Brent, Jip and Pieter discuss essential skills, the need for work experience, anti-professional attitudes and creating new realities together.
