Workshop Talks is a series of conversations with workshop specialists from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. These discussions explore themes such as the use of materials, the role of craftsmanship in art education and preparation for professional practice.
In November, the second conversation was held with workshop specialists Daniel van Dijck (Ceramics workshop), Lars Keppel (Photography workshop), Carlijn Fransen (Analogue and Digital film workshop) and Ivo van Stiphout (Medialab). The four talk about now and then, corporate culture, their love of analogue — and students going out to grab a coffee in the middle of class.
