Our garden was once designed by Mien Ruys - adapted over the years, of course, but her influence is still tangible.
That's why we like to tip the exhibition “Mien Ruys and the modern garden” at the Van Eesteren Museum Amsterdam. The planting drawing of our garden (see image) is also part of the exhibition. Click here for more info on the exhibition.
We also warmly recommend this beautiful booklet from the Pleasant Place series - an ode to Ruys' work designed by fanfare Amsterdam members and Rietveld workshop specialists Miquel Hervás Gómez & César Rogers.
Time to also put our own Garden Department in the spotlight again 🌞 - on 14 May, there will be another Garden Day! For everyone who, between concrete and construction, still believes in green.
