One of the aims of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie is to create an open and safe (working) environment. See our Code of Conduct for more information. Nevertheless, there may be (suspected) misconduct.
Misconduct can include violating the rights or the (mandatory) rules of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. This could include the integrity code or the regulations regarding the academy's board. Misconduct can also include endangering public health, personal safety or damaging the environment. When the proper functioning of the academy is at stake, there may also be a misconduct. A report can always be made of a danger of or a suspicion of misconduct.
The academy believes it is important that students and staff feel safe to sound the alarm in cases of misconduct, violation or the danger thereof. The Whistleblowing Regulation ensures that you will not be disadvantaged as a reporter.
Do you want to report (suspected) misconduct? Then contact the integrity officer of the Gerrit Rietveld Academie: claudia.quelle@rietveldacademie.nl.
When making a report, you can be assisted by a confidential adviser authorised for this purpose.
You can find the Whistleblowing Regulation here.
The academy has a one stop shop where reporters can seek advice in case of doubt about where their signal, report or complaint should be filed. For this, you can contact Helena Lambrechts: helena.lambrechts@rietveldacademie.nl.
