My designs explore the limits of my own sensory comfort in clothing. I tested uncomfortable secondhand garments, in order to collect data about fit and materials. This method formed new garments out of jersey fabrics, shaping clothes that oscillate between containment and ease: where what appears loose may feel close to the body, and what fit closely might not be felt at all.
