Anything is Possible, even Nothing is a Possibility

Anything is Possible, even Nothing is a Possibility yields and depicts the longing of senakirfa A.'s, peculiarly (felt), Diasporic existence in the city of Amsterdam. The title continues on the thought raised by S*an D. Henry-Smith in their thesis ‘vicissitudes’, in which Henry-Smith reminds senakirfa A. of the purpose of various devices as a means of connecting the world(s) where we previously entered. Quoting; ‘where from this beyond doom we live in, and simultaneously that from here out, anything is possible. Even nothing is a possibility.’

With senakirfa A.'s body of work, she examines the ongoing and renewed aspects that spring from Diasporic world-making, A. partly refers to this as poetics.

'I was exposed to the gestures and the aesthetics of these poetics within the domestic walls of my childhood home. Through Anything is Possible, even Nothing is a Possibility I reproduce some of these particular ‘aesthetics' in an installation.'
